I really want an updated version of this keyboard to support the new Macbook USB C inputs.

I bought this keyboard to replace my working slimline membrane keyboard. Since I write a lot, I wanted to try a mechanical board that was also Mac specific. I am not disappointed. I have been using this for a week, and the experience is heavenly. I am not sure why we ever moved away from the clicky mechanical keyboards, because they are more reliable and offer a more humane typing experience.

The Azio USB keyboard I am using has increased my typing speed and made my typing more accurate. The keys are not spongy. The feedback the mechanical keys give your fingers is responsive. The keys easily snap back telling your fingers that a letter has actually been typed.as a matter of functionality, this is the best keyboard that I have ever used.

Aesthetically, the keyboard resembles an Apple keyboard. The white keys and the aluminum face looks stylish and classy. The modern addition of the backlight—3-4 levels near as I can tell—is a wonderful touch and lights up the keys nicely. The wrist rest (included) places the wrists at just the right height for typing. A person could use a different wrist pad but I like the gradual incline of the white wrist rest included in the box. Nice touch. However, it would work nicely with a Grifiti 2.75 thick one if that is more your preference.

There are few Mac specific mechanical keyboards on the market. This is one of the most affordable. It is much better than the M87 by far. The quality of the USB cord is long, and beefy. It is woven in white which is a classy touch. The sound wheel is convenient, and I actually like that part of the board, but it was not the reason I purchased this fine product.

If you are looking for a Mac specific backlit mechanical keyboard that reminds you of a more humane typing experience, this is for you.

This is a fantastic keyboard. It's hard to find a mechanical keyboard with a Mac layout, I couldn't be happier.
