This Rose Gold Keyboard Is the Desktop Accessory of Our Dreams

    It’s most definitely our type.

You can now give your desktop a trendy upgrade. The creators at AZIO are making a rose gold retro keyboard that combines the classic nostalgia of a typewriter with the of-the-moment metal.

“Inspired by vintage typewriters and crafted with ultramodern features, the AZIO Retro Classic is the perfect amalgam of past, present and future,” a spokesperson for the brand said in a statement.

The Indiegogo campaign started with a hope to reach $10,000 to produce their Retro Classic line. By August 18, the company had earned more than $245,000 from online backers—more than 1,800 percent of its original goal.

The three styles available in their latest line include: Onyx (black leather with a black chrome frame), Posh (white leather with a “copper matte” or rose gold frame), and Artisan (black leather with a “copper matte” or rose gold frame). All leather is 100 percent genuine, according to the Indiegogo page.

Each keyboard has a height adjustment function and backlight LED for late night typing.

According to the Indiegogo posting, the company is selling the wireless Bluetooth version for $189, with an estimated delivery date in October. You can also sign up to buy a keyboard with wired USB compatibility for $159. The USB-connected product will also be available in October. AZIO is also selling a similar, more wallet-friendly version on Amazon for $109.99.

The FAQ section of the Indiegogo page indicates that United Kingdom, German, Russian, Nordic, Korea, Japan, Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, and French versions are forthcoming.
